Color Aesthetic Perception is my current research project. This project integrates approaches from neuroaesthetics and computational aesthetics to explore the neural basis of color aesthetics and develop computational models for it.
The video above is an experimental recording in which I used fNIRS and eye-tracking devices to capture participants’ neural and ocular activity during a color aesthetic perception task. The screen shows changes in blood oxygen levels in the cerebral cortex。
