Absolute Security System is an interactive installation and stage featuring an immersive projection on one wall, powered by an unsupervised, self-evolving surveillance system. This system, driven by digital data, constructs a physical restricted zone in open space, classifying and isolating individuals in the real world.
In this data-driven reality, no one is exempt. From height and weight to ID numbers and home addresses, every individual’s existence is encoded, collected, stored, and processed. Authorities, corporations, and schools utilize this data to “better” manage their citizens, employees, and students.
This raises critical questions:
– How does digital data control physical human existence?
– How does it shape our real lives, and why does it hold such power?
– Is this leading us toward a future dominated by data-centrism?
Through this work, we aim to make tangible the process by which physical humans are abstracted into digital data and how this data, in turn, exerts control over physical human life.
